Event Entry
Event Entry changes from time to time to make it easier to use or add extra features. I have written this at Easter 2025, it should get you there, if not ring MA Member Services on 1300 883 959.
A lot of information should be already there, things like name address , emergency contacts etc. What you need to enter is your cars details. Fill out as many sections as you can, Make, Model, Year, Engine Capacity, Colour are all important, engine and chassis numbers not so much. If you have done some track days at Mallala a lap time would be helpful (don't lie) if not you can add that after your first event and reset it as you get faster. It will ask for a Dorian number, if you have one put it in, if you are hiring one put hire.

If you are a member of MSCA Competition Register, details on the Registration page, (click here) for the form, you need to put the MSCA as your main club so you automatically get a discount, put your other club down as well. As a member of the Competition Register you are eligible for end of year trophies so you need to decide what class your in. You should be able to get help from your club with this. (click here) for the list of classes available. In Event Entry you need to scroll down till you find SA Supersprint Classes and choose one there. Remember if your car is Supercharged or has a turbo you multiply the capacity by 1.7 a 2 litre turbo must be entered as 3.4 litre (3400cc).

If you are not a member of the MSCA Competition Register you are not eligible for awards and you automatically go into the invited class and show as IC in the results. It is still the same amount of fun.

If you are having trouble with which class to enter have a talk to your club members, other competitors or Rick, Sue, Roger or Adrian from the MSCA.

One last thing that is pretty important, when you tick the boxes at the start of the entry form every box says "I have read and understood..." it might be the Motorsport Australia disclaimer, a legal document about risks and your rights. It might be the Supplementary Regulations that list the rules of the day, the procedules and the time schedule. This one is important! if you disobey the rules you could have an accident or hurt someone and you might get a monetary fine. It might be the Statement of Compliance another legal document that says your car complies with the rules and is safe, make sure it does or you may end up in trouble.
